This is a beautifully sang (and played) acoustic song with a blues progression. The first time I heard it, I thought it was going to be a simple blues song, until the vocals came in. It surprised me as it wasn’t what I suspected it to be by listening to the beginning.

“Lenny” was written for Stevies wife Lenora. It was the 10th track on their first album “Texas Flood”. Stevie also named one of his guitars Lenny, after her. It’s a beautiful song and produces very rich clean guitar tones. It’s played in 4/4 time. Enjoy!
