@ Aaron Simko: having that "funky cut" doesnt mean its more shredable. if you look more closely, the Alexi-600 NEEDS that cut since the body starts higher up the neck than the Jackson. And people who make insulting comments at other people are motherfuckers, plain and simple. Cheers, asshole/

I seems like a cool amp,but I am not trying to sound like KH!! there are too many posers out here doing that today. Maybe the other modules will help to shape new sounds. He didn't say if there was an footpedal included!! I've seen this guy(guitar world demo guy) before, this guy can play!!

what a crappy review of the 2. you forgot to mention the playability. just by looking at the 2 i see that the Alexi-600 is more shred able. because of the funky cut in the body down in the higher frets. you can shred the 20's frets with ease. also the Alexi will be easier to tune since it has got the string rod on it making it easier to tune when your strings aren't locked down. Finally since i just got done playing my 25th live show, i realized how rad neck bindings are to make it easier to find your self on the neck on a dark lit stage. Alexi -600 got it Jackson don't. since your such a tool and even though i love the EMG 81 myself i am getting the Alexi-600 now. you can get the case with the guitar if you shop around. which is an off set of your stupidity. i hope your battiery runs out on your active pickup's and you remove the 9v from the CO2 alarm when you most need it.

Once you have bought yourself a guitar, you can actually start taking beginner lessons. Beginner lessons are guitar classes taught to newcomers so they are familiar with the basics of the guitar and how to play it. The first thing you will be taught is not how to play the instrument, but what the different parts of the guitar are.

I've always heard its best to learn on a regular acoustic, then once you get the hang of it purchase a more expensive guitar. Plus, who knows if you're gonna like playing the guitar, or how much time you will spend playing it before you maybe get tired of it. I would rather figure that out with a less expensive guitar. If you figure out how to play, you will probably then appreciate the more expensive guitar.

Do you want an acoustics guitar? Fender will do. Yamaha will do too. If live close to a guitar center in your areas, I suggest you check it out. Do not get it off Craig list. I darn sure, you can a brand new one for the same price.

Good question. I would suggest staying in the mid hundreds for your first guitar. Name brand doesn't always matter. Here is a link I found that will give you some helpfull hints.
